Running Amok at Toys R Us...

An took half the day off today. Fuddin's favorite toy broke last night (it had been abused beyond repair...may it RIP) so we decided to bring the kids to Toys R Us to get new ones.

Looking at the pics, you're right if you're guessing they had a good time. Fuddin was especially hyper and was running amok! In the end, we didn't get to buy anything there. Haha. That's so typical of us. We then dragged Fuddin to Kiddy Palace where we finally managed to buy a decent toy for each of them.

Then off to where else but MacDonalds where Fuddin was reunited with his beloved fries. Ayra was feeling adventurous and keeping herself occupied by asking for another cup of plain water, going to the wash basin to wash her hands... she was doing anything and everything but eat. Yet again...how typical.

Then off to Wak Ruby's house. Izal and his wife had driven down from Malacca so we decided to visit them. They were watching some scary horror movie and Ayra's petrified of those (she gets nightmares) so we didn't stay too long.

So my weekend is over. Another 2 weeks to go before the one week break. I've got soooo much marking to do. I will get it done before the break. Well, I don't have a choice. Ok will try to update soon.

The "Sick" Family

So I was sick. So I almost died of the pain (it felt like the contractions I had when I was about to give birth!) and thought I would never be myself again. Then I got better and I'm back to work (now is that a blessing or a curse?). I even came back a day earlier. I had Tuesday off as well but being the dedicated form teacher I am, I came because 5Ruby had to go to the Handicapped Association for their CIP programme.

Well, I'm glad I came. My dear class would have been so lost without me. They are such a happy, cheerful bunch. I'm quite amazed actually. We even sang a song for the people there, gave them personalized cards and fed them cookies. The girls took some photos. Will try and upload them later ya?

Well, today's a good day. I'm discounted 2 periods so that means I only have 2 teaching periods but I have ELDS later till 6 so that's a bummer. I would actually like to get home earlier coz my parents are really unwell; Ayra has a fever and Fuddin has a really bad cough. An is on 2 days mc as well. In short, we're all SICK!

For now, I'll survive.

V Day 08

So today is Valentine's Day. After years of not getting flowers from hubby, this year he decided to buy me a stalk of freaking overpriced rose. Ironically, I didn't get him anything this year. Anyway, it's kinda sweet.

The Break is Over Baybeh....

So the long Chinese New Year Break is over. What did I do? Nothing much really. We didn't really go out. Still, it was a good break.

Then today, my place was turned into a childcare centre again.

Haha. I can't imagine.

Back to work tomorrow. I will survive.

Don't You Wish Your Girlfriend Was Hot Like Me?

I finally bought Ayra her first ever high heel shoes. I also bought her a traditional Chinese costume to be worn to school on Wednesday (Chinese New Year celebrations). She looks so cute (will upload the photos later)and the best thing is, she's really happy about the whole outfit, especially the shoes. She can't wait to show Marissa, who by the way, already owns 9 pais of high heel shoes!

Hmmm...did I also mention that dear Marissa taught Ayra a new song the other day? When I asked Ayra to sing it for me, she went "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?" I'm not exaggarating when I tell you my jaw literally dropped! I didn't know whether to be upset or amused. When I asked her if she knew the meaning of the line, she said no and demanded an explanation...so I took the coward's way out and changed the topic! Maybe when she's a wee bit older, yah?

It was raining today so we just went grocery shopping at IMM's Giant. The place is a riot on weekends. Somehow we managed to get our groceries and spend some time at thesheltered playground. Fuddin was pretty obsessed with the slides and Ayra was running around trying everything out in her usual cautious manner.

Going to bring the kids to their cousin's place tomorrow. Ayra misses her beloved Kakak Anisa.

My Blog Will Go On....

Ya... My blog is almost dead. I've just been so busy. I've been attending courses, marking, giving tutorials, teaching...the list goes on. I'm even neglecting my babies! Sigh... I'm sorry darlings. I will make it up to you guys... hubby included.

Anyway, the cross country today was a non event. Enough said. What a waste of time.

Next week is the Chinese New Year week. I only have two teaching days. Woohoo. I'm like behind in my marking though... gotta mark.

I don't know what else to blog. I'm loosing it. I used to have so much to blog about. It's not that nothing is happening in my life...it's just that it seems to take more effort to update. I've got to keep going though. I will get into my super blogger mode.

By the way, do I perpetually have this pissed off look on my face? Carol says I do. Hmm...Ok some pics we took today (cam whoring can be therapeutic). To Infinity and Beyond!!!!
