Busy, busy, busy!

Hmm, being back at work, it seems like I was never away. Haha. Yeah...I've been busy. We're having our Speech Day tomorrow and the English exams are next week so it's busy, busy, busy. Still, come weekends, I can't be bothered to do work coz I'm so busy with the family.

Let me see, we celebrated Mom's and Steven's birthday on Good Friday. Being the simple people that we are, the celebrations was of course... simple. Hehe. Just a cake and good food, cooked by birthday girl herself. Yes, even on her birthday, my mom insists that she cooks.

We also brought the kids to West Coast park but it was almost noon when we got there so it was effing hot! We just hung around for a bit and after that, being typical Singaporeans, seeked refuge at the nearby air conditioned Ginza Plaza (which is by the way, quite pathetically dead).

Then on Tuesday, I accompanied Ayra to NUH for her appointment to check out her lungs. She's been complaining of sporadic pains in her chest so I decided to get a thorough check. Luckily, the ECG and X ray shows she's fit as a fiddle so it could be just gastric; which is not so bad. Unfortunately, she also developed an eye infection on the same day (which resulted in her looking like a goldfish) so she's been missing school.

But that didn't stop her cosying up to Mr Ronald MacDonald himself. Haha. Kids.

Anyway, me and my beloved plan to catch "Fast & Furious" this weekend. Yup, he's very much into the hot cars and Vin Diesel is kinda hot so we're looking forward to that.

And oh, I almost forgot! The most exciting piece of news of the week is that my baby boy is going to school. Woohoo! Fuddin starts on 30th April. He's still unaware of what awaits him so he's alright. In the meantime, Grandma and Grandad are anxiously waiting for the date, nervous that their beloved munchkin will not be well looked after. Hehe, who can blame them? Fuddin is closer to them than he is to me and Roshan.

Ok, gotta run. Work awaits me and I'm not one to procrastinate (yeah, right!).
