A Sunday with the Kids...

Roshan took half the day off from work yesterday so we brought the kids to Marina. We like Marina Square because it's not as crowded as the other jam-packed heartland shopping centres.

We went for our meal at Cavana first and Fuddin was pretty well behaved as we had bought his beloved fries from Macs beforehand (smart planning!). After a good meal, we went to John Little and Fuddin just went crazy. With new found energy; he was sprinting the whole of John Little! We finally had to resort to bribing him with a mini lollipop!

We then decided the kids had enough of the indoors so we let them loose. They had a good time wandering aimlessy and basically just being kids. Fuddin managed to get the front of his shirt all wet as he attempted to dip his fingers (and almost all of himself) into the water feature. Ayra was more obsessed with the little tree; wrapping her arms around it and gleefully posing for the camera. Ahh..to be a kid again. You lose all sense of inhibitions.

After that, we walked round aimlessly for a while as Fuddin was pretty uncooperative and Ayra was just running all over the place in her new high heel shoes. Urggh! Sometimes I wonder why I ended up with such mischivous children. Then it occured to me that both of them did not take their customary afternoon nap hence the hyper and grumpy attitude.

So we decided to go to Wak tijah's house for a visit. On the way there, an eerie silence descended upon us. ayra had fallen asleep in the front seat and fuddin? Haha...he had fallen asleep standing up! My poor little baby boy!

So I had a 20 minutes break as well but as soon as we reached our destination, they were up, bright eyed and ready to go. Haha! So we went to Wak Tijah's house and Ayra and Abah had a good time playing with this interative game set... Wii? Is that what you call it? Anyway, they had a ball playing (especially sports deprived Roshan) and dear Fuddin was the over excited, jumping cheerleader who positioned himself at the best available spot... in front of the telly!

Ahh...what a Sunday!
